Building For A Community
The project is Located in Bamiyan, Afghanistan. The project starts with the past, and more precisely with reallocating the caves refugees into a well and decent residence. The project is the future, with its new architecture, the new construction coming into life, it is an amalgamation of people place and time. Building upon the future of this community is our second goal, building upon the sport culture, the culture they share from generation to generation.
The aim of this project is to create this sense of belongingness in this whole new way of living. Focusing on the human aspects, sports and craftsmanship were the most essentials functions of the project, since it is a community that lives of their handmade products, and practice unique sports.

This project was chosen along with two others to represent the Lebanese American University school of architecture in an international competition.
This project was also chosen to be part of the official online exhibition of the Lebanese American University.
